You won’t leave my thoughts, you won’t vacate my mind. Like a footprint in the sand, like an imprint in my heart

I can’t forget the past, can’t replace what has been, when I pass landmarks in town I think of you, you were a landmark to me

I miss you and can’t see how, I cry when you are not here. I can’t bare to think you’re with someone else, in their heart, in their mind

Time shall fix it, time will mend, I can’t stop wondering, hoping thinking

How do you describe a woman who you hold so dear?

How to you thank the lady who brought you here

How can I say thank you enough

How can I make up for the times when it was tough?

It doesn’t matter how you it is spelt

What matters to me are the things which you have dealt?

You make it so easy, when I want to cry, you know when I’m truthful and when I tell lies

You’ve dealt with so much, when I was a wee boy

You tried to stay positive, buying me uniforms and new toys

No matter how I try, there is no easy way

To thank you for being you, each and every day

Just Cant Relate

hate, discrimination, bullying, killing – this is a message for anyone willing

to listen to fight, to stand up for others – whether a stranger, a friend, a sister or brother

Fear, Hurt, Pain, sadness

homophobias born from unnatural badness

why should someone show so much hate, the cause of high suicide rates

we need to educate from an early age, get teachers involved in every stage

homophobia, racism and bullying cant last

lets fight together to make it a thing of the past

You and I

Like the blossom of tulips on a bright summers day

Like the melting of snow as seasons give way

Like the bustle of people as sales hit the shops

Like the toots and the honks as men load the docks

Our love is so natural as if regular to me

But in the eye of the public they just cannot see

My hand fits yours like an intricate lock

My heart in your grasp, the key you have got

I’m with you for always till the day that we end

You’re not just my partner, you’re also my friend

Closed Mind

Discrimination across the nation, will result in a young realisation

Homophobic Bullying and killing without reason, beheading and murder like we commit treason

Men can love men, Women can love women – its not a crime, so why are we punished and judged all the time

Poof, Dyke and tranny are the words of choice, each time silencing a young persons voice

we need to fight for what we believe in, that how we were born isn’t a registered sin

Pathetic Aesthetics

Old, Young, Tall, Short
Love yourself no matter what

Fat, Emo, Twink, Thin – you may judge me but do you know the position I’m in

Pale, Tanned, Spotty, Clear
I want to walk the streets, free of fear

Braces, Glasses, Ginger, Brown
why do you laugh, mock and put me down

Looks are judged by people too much
with personality and love, we have lost touch

I may be ugly, I may hurt your sight
but I have a heart and this heart burns bright

judge lest ye be judged, see the world from my eyes

maybe then you wont hide from your lies

Forget the Regret

My mind is marred by the effects of drink

my mind is condemned to stop and  to think
about things that have happened, about things gone by

Things that would make a grown man cry

I’d like to think that I’ve changed for the best
I’d like to think that I mask my feelings with jest

Left the bad behind me, let my skeletons rest

if my skeletons are behind me they are there for the best

My Unexpected Friend

I met you once whilst on a train

I thought you would see me as somewhat vain

You did not talk, you did not smile
I spoke to you after a while

Now you make me laugh, you make me grin
a friendship thick came from ice so thin

You are so awesome, you are so cool
to you I feel like such a fool

I felt I could not speak to you at first
now our friendships set to burst

My initial opinion is on the mend
I’m really happy to be your friend

Easter Earnings

I am not religious but I do feel a great sense of pride for those who do show devotion to the god they believe in and as such I have dedicated this poem to those who will not stop believing. God Bless

He died for our failings, he dies for our sins

he died for new mothers, babies, single or in twins

he gave up all he believed in, he was hanged up on the cross

but 2000 years in the future we still do give a toss

we roll our eggs in easter, we have a meal for him

we eat and we remember, he died for all our sins

some people need fags, drink and drugs
some people need to be taken for mugs
some people want to sit back and chill
some people want to take the pill
others want to be the boss
others want to give a toss
others want to take the lead
others want to get caught up in greed

So think about what you hold dear
think about the things you fear

Drugs, fags, pressure and beer?

Who do you want to be
for I am happy, just being me
